When three weeks ago after more than a year preparing inaugurates House of Slovak Regions in Brussels told myself sket dance that I must go there as soon as possible look. On the one hand led me purely professional interest to convey to our readers up to date on the other hand, I was curious sket dance how the Slovak Regions in Brussels discussed.
The fact that the House of Slovak regions located on the "right address" you have probably sket dance already learned from the press. And it's true, because Cortenbergh Avenue is located in the center of events and the European institutions so that his employees have other Slovak colleagues to jump.
The building where the House of Slovak Regions is, the Slovak side has three floors, which are located at various regional offices. Exile had a chance to see these spaces and it should be recognized that they are really very nice and presentable. Guide during our visit was Mr. Pavol Drlička that such information and communication manager responsible for the running of the project. He gladly answered a few questions.
Mr. Drlička, at the outset, let me congratulate you on the launch of this truly meritorious project. House of Slovak Regions is definitely an excellent idea. You can tell our readers who financially participate in its implementation?
On the cost of the project sket dance was due in equal parts of all 8 regions; in the future, each month will pay a certain amount for renting premises and shared services (including services manager Home, phone, internet, cleaning services, insurance and IT services). Admission costs of the project amounted to 3.6 million crowns. Coordination of the project was in charge of Košice region, which fakticy ensure the realization of the project, through sket dance its representative sket dance in Brussels. The project sket dance was from 1 March 2005 adopted a common worker to post information and communication manager who worked on the very first security and the new premises opening in addition to providing technical operation of the House and the coordination of internal and external information flows.
The main motive of creating regions were represented except for the fact that the impact of the Regions has in recent years greatly strengthened, sket dance and the need for effective analysis and participation of Slovak regions and municipalities in European affairs and projects. After several years of experience with the operation of Bratislava, Košice and Prešov regions in Brussels is a new initiative of Slovak regions seen as a very positive signal to the European institutions. Contribution of the common representation of Slovak regions will more effectively promote regional interests at the heart of the European institutions, better presentation and coordination of activities in the field of public relations, more efficient management of information and increasing the number of areas of European policy. To conclude this issue, I would add that a similar project was attempted in Brussels several EU countries, but the House of Slovak Regions, and the Dutch project is only the second of its kind.
There are several, but the most important I would mention monitoring legislative and political activities of EU activities in other regions of the EU, information on EU programs, finding partners for EU projects and support projects funded by EU programs. Very important is the promotion of cooperation with other European regions in order to develop the European integration sket dance process, oi find partners with the same political opinions to strengthen the political influence of the regions. No, not least, it is also the support of representatives of governments in the presentation of regional policy of the European institutions, regions and associations.
Of course, one of the objectives of the House of Slovak Regions is currently promoting regions of Slovakia abroad. Contribution of the common representation of Slovak regions will more effectively promote regional interests at the heart of the European institutions, better sket dance presentation of Slovak regions abroad and coordination of activities in the field of public relations, more efficient management of information and increasing the number of areas of European policy.
Everyone has the door open time will tell what will be in demand and how the public interest in the House of Slovak regions and on the other hand, gradually, sket dance we find out what we can offer to the wider public. For this, but has yet to be properly prepared. sket dance
After spending a pleasant hour of Mr Drlička and his colleagues came time opus
