Uslan camera: Philippe Rousselot composer Klaus Badelt, Brian Tyler mounting: Wayne Wahrman viewing guide:
Keanu Reeves cough that off as a private detective / exorcist Constantine, a chain smoker with lung cancer, which specializes in fighting demonic and infernal evil. For his action, he converses with an angel (Swinton), commutes to Hell, and helps to maintain the fragile peace between God and the Devil. Which is endangered by dissident demons, he thinks, while he and a clever policewoman (Weisz) investigating the suicide of her sister. But she does not believe in the Devil. At least, not at first. Amusing comic hero adaptation for those who appreciate the camp aspect.
